Reliance power IPO?

Hi All,

Sorry for my ignorance, I have some queries & doubts regarding this IPO, would like to request the experienced members to help me with my queries & doubts. The following queries I have:

a) What is the chance of getting allotment, since this issue is bigger than DLF IPO and much awaited one?
b) Shall I book profit in Reliance Energy & invest in this IPO, or is there any chance of getting split for REL share holders?

Hope some of the experienced members will spare some time to answer my queries.

Help will be appreciated,

Hi,
THe chances for getting the allottment is still rare even though the cap is high. This is bcoz of the huge branding on the scrip going on and a profitable venture expected by analysts.
As Reliance Energy is doing well these days, i suppose profit booking at this stage is fine but it has a long way to go ahead.
Coming to the Reliance 'POWER', its initial performance perfectly depends on the Reliance group's performance. Its projects are in pipeline and would be on board only after sometime in 2008.

My vote is, Future Group instead of Reliance Power

Any further comments/analysis is welcome

Dear Friends
REL shares is over valued and price is soaring only beacuse of RPL mega issue is on its way...if you have REL sold it out...in near future you will get REL cheaper than current price.
Chances of allotment is still less as small investors will go for it bcuz of discount offer.
