Why western economy fade........?

If we analyze reasons for current state of US and European economies we can see two things.
One fall of Soviet Union two Globalization
During cold war era, US and its allies spent billions to compete with communist world.They invested huge amount of their wealth for education infrastructure development,research and innovation.There were incentives for innovative business models which encouraged entrepreneurship .During cold war era best brains were attracted to the West.After the collapse of communist regime the lone super power and its allies turned against the terrorism where scope for competition is nill.Instead of spending for education and research they wasted their money as a dead investment for their globalised war especially in Iraq and in Afganistan.Due to globalization emerging countries became capable of competing with the heavy weights of west.In many sectors they out performed western powers.That lead to the current economic catastrophe which prevails in the western world and makes shock waves across the world.

This is what happened in S&P’s down gradation of US from AAA to AA+
Really us economic condition is very alarming
They are living with growing debt, borrowing more and spending for war…….!!!!!
But people can doubt the credibility of those rating agencies which had up graded rating of Lehman Brothers weeks before its collapse

US can reduce its debt burden by selling some of its gold reserve

All the issues in western world were not created in a single day. So we cannot expect a solution in a day.
But a single single news from Europe or US pulls the markets up.
the situation will turn to worse from bad
more pain yet to come
what we have seen is the tip of an ice burg

The West may commit another mistake by going for a war with Iran....
If situation worsen then Iran may try to block Oil Transit through Hormuz Strait
more than 20% world's crude Oil passes through Strait of Hormuz
This may lead to shooting up of oil prices
