Ask your queries regarding operation of market. Simple keywords, etc. Like, how does Options work? What is a stoploss buy order? Etc.

PE Values


Good day All,
Where can I find the list of all companies PE values?
I read in a book that the average PE of all stocks in u.s market is around 15 - 20 range.
What is the average PE in Indian market?
At what PE we can consider a stock as over priced?
Sharing ur knowledge will be appreciated.

PE RATIO There is no single answer for the pe ratio for co being higher. It depends upon the indutry to which the co belongs, co's performance, future prospects, magmt. quality, liquidity of the stk. etc. So you have to know more on these aspects by wide reading & references. pkk nathan

Smile moneycontrol.com and mint

I am not sure but check out www.moneycontrol.com and search for the scrip and you should get all the details about the stock. Also Mint by hindustan times on a particular day in a week has its last column in stocks section as PE. Check it out and btw mint is a good read.
