suggest stocks for long term investment?

All shares of Reliance are really good for long term. Apart from this you can think of
1) Tata Steel
2) Mangalore Chemical 100+ within a year
3) State Bank - 3000 (one year)

Hi Guys

Since the market is on rock nd roll for the last month.... Specially the major players like Reliance been on a boom.... Do u feel there wud be a correction soon.... We have been expecting a correction due to the Political Dolldrums.... but it really did not last for long .... that cud hav allowed us to join the run again....

And do you guys feel the bull run for Reliance wil continue...as it has appreciated tremendously in the last month.... or it will come down with a major change and start again.... Guys put some light on this.....

I hold stocks of Unitech @ 230... will it be rit to stay invested for another 6 months...or get out of it .. I feel this one really has got good potential to return a big bull.....

What say about IT stocks..... we saw a recovery this week but really not a long one... again they are coming down.....

Will it be the right to invest in them .. and stay invested for a year....

It wud be best if you can share ur portfolio...

That is quite true. Any of the reliance companies, irrespective of who is at the helm (Anil or Mukesh) will fetch good returns in long run.
RNRL and RPL are at much lower values.

Just remove all entertaintment stocks such as ad-labs and add RPL as much as you can. It is an evergreen star and I cant think of its price (defintely would cross 500 in 3 yrs) after 10 yrs down the line.

Yes I fully agree with your investing in RPL. In fact one can depend on the whole Reliance pack.
But I you should have included in your banking list SBI also. When all it's assocates will merge with SBI, you will see how much it will appreciate.

If the Nuke deal goes well, one can thnk of the following companies also:

1) NTPC
2) Entire Powe Sector
3) L&T, BHEL & Siemens

Anyway these are my personal opinion only.

Juhi and my longterm investor friends ,

I have earlier given my portfolio in this forum, but now I would like to concentrate my portfolio (as many experts suggest). I have invested heavily in RNRL, RPL, and POWER GRID, though I have some investment in other scripts also. I would like to invest heavily in 1-2 more stocks for time span of 3 years or may be more. (Well investing heavily is very specific term, for me, I mean I will like to have 500 shares in each script). Can you suggest other stocks which can be equally promising.

By reading thru different forums, I could gather these stocks as promising YES BANK, IDFC, IFCI (not sure), SELAN EXPLORATION (Can any body throw some light on this counter, I don't know much about Selan Exploration) GMR INFRA, PANTALOON RETAIL, TITAN, NAGARJUNA CONSTRUCTION, ALLIED DIGITAL, ASIAN ELECTRONICS ... (The list is very long)

Waiting to have your advice to pick up 1 or 2 more scripts having good upside. It would be helpful if you can recommend me your best pick apart from RPL, RNRL and PGCIL. Dear friends in short, I am looking for fourth and fifth multibagger in my portfolio (I hope these three are multibaggers ).
