Am I missing some link between IT stocks and N-deal that you mention? I thought IT stocks are related to the upheaval in the US economy, and the dollar-rupee linkup. If you think N-deal standoff in our govt. is going to pull down the govt., causing FIIs to withdraw money in droves, and thereby causing rupee to fall vis-a-vis dollar - you may have a point. But then in a sharply falling market, how can IT stocks remain immune?

But I think if leftists stand firmly behind their stand of "No N-deal or no support", then Congress will be forced to shelve it until the issues are resolved. Meanwhile, USA credit crunch and liquidity issues remain which will continue to adversely affect IT companies.

In short, there is much going against IT stocks than for it. As such, I feel there is more pain left in the coming weeks. IMHO
