Real estate is I think worth buyin at every decline ... at least for now... especially Unitech and DLF which are bleeding in the current market condition and on the other hand at the mouth watering levels... At least Im planning to buy Unitech and DLF at every decline from now on....
In the current markets we should plan to invest only 25% of our cash... n thats too without any leverage/margin.. and invest rest of the 75% to buy on every decline... and exiting on every rise.... As crude is raring to cross many levels ... 145... 150... 160....... and no wonder 200 levels by the end of this year... Read a nice article at Lord "Narayan" tells Market Futures Bye n have a nice trading session amid a choppy market....

To Buy or Not To Buy???
Hello Ankita,
A friend of mine bought stocks worth lakhs AFTER Jan. fall, and is staring at a 30% loss in his portfolio. Mind you, these are all good stocks; and he is a very knowledgeable person in stock markets. But since he is a LONG TIME investor, he is prepared to bide his time until they all come good. Crude oil, inflation, credit crunch (already over $400 billion), corp. earnings, political uncertainty - all of these factors are playing on people's minds. So IMHO one should scout around, make a virtual portfolio of stocks they would like to own based on their study, then wait for the levels at which they become 'reasonably' attractive. With RBI having raised repo rate, interest rates on home loans will go up (as said by Unitech today) so real estate particularly will be hard hit. DLF has gone below its issue price, but still trading at a high PE compared to the market. I have discussed Unitech prices in "Derivatives" section elsewhere in this forum. Wish I knew how to post its link here. Unitech is slated to go down to 160 levels. Finally, to all traders and investors, who do not read Business Line newspaper on a daily basis (but especially Sunday edition) are doing themselves a great disservice. I have no vested interest in THE HINDU group of papers, but I can personally vouch for Business Line as a must read, especially Lokeshwari's comments in Sunday edition. All the best. Please do share your comments, experience etc. as most people for some reason shy away from that and just exist as 'looky loos' ![]() Paresh |
